He is currently the Head, Financial Inclusion Services at First Bank of Nigeria Limited where he is leading the bank’s efforts at making access to financial services easier and more convenient for the millions of Nigerians who are today excluded from mainstream financial services.


Under his leadership, the bank’s USSD banking channel (focused on the mass market segment) was launched and scaled to become the leading USSD banking service in the industry today, with over 7.5 million users. He is also managing a network of over 27,000 Agents across the country, the largest distribution network for financial services in the Nigerian market currently.

Sunday Olufemi Williams is known for his very hands-on and versed IT skills. He is the Group Managing Director of the Chams group, having served on the Chams PLC board as non- executive director for over 15 years.

Femi obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering from the University of Ife in 1989as well as a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United State of America. He is also an alumnus of the Lagos Business School, where he successfully completed the Chief Executive and the International Management Programme.

Over the last 28 years, Olufemi Williams has made immense contributions to the IT industry. He led a technical team in pioneering technology solutions in Nigeria. The implementation of the novel Bank Verification Number (BVN) project was within the leadership of Femi Williams, ensuring its successful delivery.

Femi is a fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and the Institute of Credit Administration (ICA). He is a member of the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CRPN), the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Ikoyi Club and Metropolitan Club.

Aishah She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Abuja. She has also served as the head of business development at Zenith Capital Limited. Other assignments in the past have included stints at the Bank of New York Mellon in the United Kingdom and at Synesix Financial Limited, also in the United Kingdom. From 2009 until 2014, she served in various capacities at Stanbic IBTC Holdings, including as Head, High Net Worth Individuals.

She also served as the chairperson of the executive council of Women in management, Business and public Service (WIMBIZ); a Nigerian Non-Profit organization where she was part of the establishment in 2001 which focused on addressing issues affecting the interest of women professionals in business, with particular attention on promoting leardership development and building capacities to engender growth.
